Lona Katie Edna (Imken) Polka 10/18/1911-3/14/2000

Lona Katie Polka, of Lytle, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 14, 2000 at the age of 88 years. Mrs. Polka was a member of the Hermann Sons Grand Lodge and St. John's Lutheran Church. She was preceded to death on November 1, 1998 by her husband, Gene Polka; and by one grandson. Mrs. Polka is survived by her children, Mary Louise Davis, James F. Anderson and wife Bitsy of Corpus Christi, Loretta Dorfmeister, Joan Crady and husband Joe, and Sharon Cox and husband Howard of Garden City, KS; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in Dellcrest Chapel on Thursday, March 16, 2000 from 5:30P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Committal Services for Mrs. Polka, along with the cremains of her late husband Gene, will be held on Friday March 17, 2000 in Sutherland Springs Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Robert Braun officiation. Services entrusted to Dellcrest Funeral Home.
