Joe Ben had a Flying School in San Antonio. My grandfather, Walter Carlos, was stationed at Brooks Field and would go out to help refuel planes or do other little jobs. To pay him for his work, Joe Ben was going to teach Walter how to fly, but Walter did not do it.
